RAILWAY DENTAL SURGERY, CO CAVAN
Railway Dental Surgery is a renowned dental surgery in Cavan town, serving patients in Cavan and surrounding counties. They provide general dental treatments including fillings, crowns and dentures, and also provide orthodontic services to teenagers and adults. The dental surgery has recently relocated to a new energy efficient premises on College Street.
We worked closely with our clients on this new build to ensure the building met current nZEB building regulations, including the renewable energy source aspect.
Micheal Smith of Hybrid Energy Group chose a smart renewable energy technology that would:
- Enable the building to meet current low energy building regulations
- Provide low energy bills
- Provide low running costs
- Future proof the building for decades to come
- Help Ireland reach our Climate Action Goals for 2030
Hybrid Energy Group provided full installation of the building’s heating system using an 8kw Split Unit Mitsubishi Electric Ecodan air-to-water heat pump, with a 200 litre cylinder.
We supplied and installed all radiators, and sanitary ware.

This busy dental practice now has only one energy source, electricity, with just one energy bill to pay. The building is low energy, and when compared to a traditional oil or gas heating system, they will save approximately 50% on costs, as well as eliminating the need for fossil fuels.
The installation and commissioning of the new heating system was delivered before the construction deadline, with full technical support and guidance from Hybrid Energy Group.
