DOMESTIC SOLAR PV, ARDEE, CO. LOUTH

This house was owned by a young family of 5 who wanted more control over their energy consumption, to reduce the stress of unexpected bills and to make the switch to creating carbon free energy. This family is working and schooling from home and wanted a system which would support their growing family needs to help them adapt to whatever life throws their way. They wanted reliable heating for the winter months and increased the value of their property for the future. 

 This project is one of many being undertaken to create green energy from Solar PV working towards Ireland’s Climate Action Plan 2019.

Micheal Smith of Hybrid Energy Group Ltd carried out an assessment on this old dwelling house to establish how they could

To meet the needs of this homeowner we installed 12 Trina Solar Panel = 3.6KW. This system included installing a Van Der Valk roof mounting kit along with Trina Solar as it is a Tier 1 product and a perfect fit for this property.

The homeowner now feels the house is more comfortable, easier to heat and their bills have reduced enormously. There are no more draughts around the windows and every room in the house has the same comfortable temperature. They are delighted to know that they have also added to the future value of their home.
