Commercial Solar PV Installation, Co. Cavan

Kingspan Breffni Park, the home Cavan GAA welcomed us in to install solar panels on the roof, increasing the stadiums energy efficiency and lowering their energy bills and environmental impact.

Reducing their reliance on finite fossil fuels means lowering their carbon emissions, and carbon footprint, as well as reducing their energy bills, and demonstrating the benefits of renewable energy to their clients.

Reducing their reliance on the grid, Breffni Park wanted to do their part for the environment, lower energy bills and demonstrate directly how renewable energy can create a sustainable future for all clubs in Ireland.

Some of their goals included:

  • Reduce energy bills
  • Reduce reliance on the grid
  • Reduce use of fossil fuels
  • Capacity to generate own energy
  • Reduce carbon footprint
  • Demonstrate benefits of solar energy to fans

Hybrid Energy Group installed the following:

  • 20.75kW Trina Solar PV System

This business now generates its own electricity via the 20.75kW solar PV system.

  • This Solar PV System will generate approximately 16,261 kWh of energy per annum.
  • Approximately €6,016.47 annual energy savings
  • Approximately saving 4,911 litres of petrol per year and 5,581kg of Coal per year
  • This system is the equivalent of planting 296 trees per year.
  • Reduced Carbon Footprint with this sustainable carbon-free energy solution

Kingspan Breffni Park have begun their journey with solar energy, and will continue to add more panels in the future.
