Pet Shop Boyz, at Moynehall business park, Cavan welcomed us in to install solar panels on the roof, increasing the shops energy efficiency and lowering their energy bills and environmental impact.
Reducing their reliance on finite fossil fuels means lowering their carbon emissions, and carbon footprint, as well as reducing their energy bills, and demonstrating the benefits of renewable energy to their clients.
Reducing their reliance on the grid, Padraig and his team wanted to do their part for the environment, lower energy bills and demonstrate directly how renewable energy can create a sustainable future for all.

Hybrid Energy Group installed the following:
- 14.9kW Trina Solar PV System
- 10kW Huawei Hybrid Inverter
- Roof mounted
This business now generates its own electricity via the 14.9kW solar PV system.
- This Solar PV System will generate approximately 12,398kWh of energy per annum.
- Approximately €4,001 annual energy savings
- Approximately saving 3,765 litres of petrol per year and 3.960kg of Coal per year
- This system is the equivalent of planting 197 trees per year.
- Reduced Carbon Footprint with this sustainable carbon-free energy solution
